Dareton Public School serves the small township of Dareton, a horticultural district of Coomealla, and an Aboriginal settlement located one kilometre from the town. Trinity Lutheran College is a co-educational school which caters for students from Preparatory to Year 10. The College currently has over 500 enrolled students. The school is situated at 920 Fifteenth Street, Mildura and is located in a developing part of the city, surrounded by housing estates. The Centre Plaza shopping complex is close by. Mildura West Primary School, VIC
Mildura West is an accredited 5 star school under the AuSSI – Australian Sustainable Schools Initiative, originally designed by the Gould League and CERES Environmental Park. The program has provided Professional Development and customised consultancy to assist us develop operational practices integrated with a sustainable curriculum. The Program over the years has offered a holistic education program on sustainability for schools. It consists of a core module ‘Becoming a Sustainable School’ and four modules that aim to decrease waste and litter produced by the school, reduce energy consumption of the school, reduce water consumption of the school and to increase biodiversity in the grounds.
